The Lincoln County Commissioners unanimously approved the Blind Bull Meadows development proposal for the Greys River area at meeting of the Commissioners held July 3.
20 lots were approved verses the original 30 lots proposed. Firewise landscaping must be incorporated and insurance must be in place for wildland fire liability.
Additional requirements placed on the project by the Commissioners included the installation of exterior sprinkler systems on all structures within the development, working with the Alpine Fire Department on fire safety concerns and installing a sprinkler line along the eastern side of the development for fire suppression purposes.
The Lincoln County Commissioners encouraged the developer to continue pursuing conservation plans with regards to the proposed development area.
According to the Lincoln County Commissioners, the approval of the project master plan is not a permission to build. Rather, it allows the project to move forward with individual plat applications and development plans
